2
Topics of this Presentation
  • What is a catalyst?
  • How does the Fitch Fuel Catalyst function?
  • What changes occur in fuels due to the FFC ?
  • How is the FFC typically installed?
  • Performance in lab engines and field tests.
  • Testimonials and product reviews.
  • Fitch Fuel Catalyst Credentials.
3
What Is A Catalyst?
  • An agent that changes the rate of a chemical reaction .
  • Catalysts change the kinetics of one or more reactions without being transformed.
  • Catalysts save energy, time, and expense which is why they are useful
4
What Is the Fitch Fuel Catalyst?
  • It is a heterogeneous catalyst.
  • It is not an additive.
  • It does not lose potency.
  • It induces chemical reactions among fuel molecules at low temperatures.
5
How Does the FFC Change Gasoline?
  • Molecules in the C1, C2, C3, C4 (which contribute to pre-ignition) are markedly diminished.
  • Highly branched molecules in the C7 – C11 range are increased. These are ideal for optimal combustion.
  • Octane Rating Increases.
  • Oxidation Stability improves from 255 minutes to 390 minutes ASTM D525
  • Fitch Fuel Catalyst reverses the natural degrading process of gasoline.
  •  Bacterial growth is suppressed (see next slide).

How Does the FFC Change Diesel?
  • Percentage of branched hydrocarbons are reduced.
  • Percentage of long chain hydrocarbons are increased. These are ideal for combustion.
  • 2,6,10,14-tetramethylheptadecane is reduced.
  • 2,3,6-trimethylnaphthalene is reduced.
  • Fitch Fuel Catalyst reverses the natural degrading process of diesel.

Gasoline testimonials and reviews
  • “We were skeptical to the claims that we would improve our fuel economy by as little as 1.5-2 mpg but, to our surprise we ended up getting a 2.5 mpg improvement” -Sport Truck Magazine 12-01

  • “The car which delivered 25 mpg over flat interstate with just a driver, improved to 27.9 mpg with 5 occupants and a trunk full of luggage.”  -  Musclecar Review  09-01

  • “we picked up almost 3 mpg, and unlike the block of wood, there were no bad side effects associated with the Fitch Fuel Catalyst, only benefits”
  •      2.7 mpg increase / 19.57% improvement  -  JP Magazine 10-01
